You can enjoy a soak in the deer water holes, or even ride in a pony cart around the zoo. This park is open from 9 AM to 5 PM and is closed on Wednesdays
2) Nehru Zoological Park
Located in the Aravalli range of hills in Delhi, this zoo was opened in 1984 and was named after Jawaharlal Nehru. The entry fee is approximately Rs 150 per person for Indians and Rs 600 per person for foreigners. This park has an excellent collection of animals, including lions, tigers, and bears. You can also go on a camel safari, and enjoy some ice cream after your safari! This park is open from 10 AM to 6 PM and is closed on Mondays.
3) Pragati Maidan Zoo in Delhi
This beautiful zoo was formerly known as the Indian National Congress Culture Centre. One of the biggest zoos in Delhi, it has an educational attraction for kids. The entry fee is approximately Rs 60 per person for Indians and Rs 300 per person for foreigners. You can take a ride on the birds to train around the zoo in Delhi which is the oldest amusement ride still operating in India, or you could explore other parts of Delhi city. This park is open from 10 AM to 6 PM and is closed on Mondays.
4) Sonebhadra Zoo in Delhi
Located in the outskirts of Delhi city, this zoo is open from 9 AM to 6 PM and is closed on Mondays. The entry fee is approximately Rs 100 per person for Indians and Rs 600 per person for foreigners. See the tigers and other animals wandering around in the park, or check out the animal farm using a rickshaw. You can enjoy some hot water after you visit this park!
5) Lal Bahadur Shastri National Zoological Park
This zoo was opened in 1964 and was named after Lal Bahadur Shastri. The entry fee is approximately Rs 140 per person for Indians and Rs 800 per person for foreigners. You can see all types of animals as well as birds such as peacocks, flamingos, and partridges. You can also take a ride on a camel cart! This park is open from 9 AM to 6 PM and is closed on Mondays.
